A.L. Gamache

(I know. I know. I need a better picture. But a vacation pic with a retro Beach Boys tank and my favorite aviators? I can’t tame the heat on this fire.)

A.L. Gamache is an author, editor, and University Lecturer. She focused her studies on creative writing as an undergraduate, and has been publishing short stories (and the occasional poem) ever since. Her work is found in publications such as Junto Magazine, Adelaide Magazine, and Oddball Magazine.

She couldn’t shake the education bug, but high schoolers are scary, so she’s stayed in college, teaching composition to freshmen who only occasionally call her “cheugy.” Her favorite part of her role is working with students on their essays, acting as a developmental editor and line editor to make their pieces shine. Gamache has also worked with students beyond the classroom, assisting in graduate essays and helping students publish essays originally written in her classroom.

Since 2020, Gamache has been working with Indie authors to help their work shine.
